The Cogeneration Units for Family House - Evaluation and Simulation
Martynek, Václav ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with cogeneration units of low power that are used for heating of buildings and to cover the heat demand of small industrial enterprises. The introductory chapters are focusing on clarifying the principles of combined heat and power (CHP) as well as on the basic advantages and important indicators of CHP. The thesis presents a brief overview of cogeneration devices by type of primary units and also provides an overview of cogeneration units suitable for family houses that are currently available on the market. The text describes how to install and connect the cogeneration unit. The fourth chapter includes description of elemental thermal processes and possibility of heat transfer. The fifth chapter describes the thermal circuit model and calculation efficiency of a cogeneration unit. Thermal circuit consists of a cogeneration unit and a multivalent tank for hot water heating system and potable hot water system. The object of master’s thesis is to create a model of thermal circuit cogeneration units in a simulation program and a graphical user interface, that will allow a simple way to evaluate the operation of the cogeneration unit when changing the input parameters.
Milling spindle thermal model
Chlapek, Ondřej ; Musil, Filip (referee) ; Hadraba, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create two thermal models (black box and grey box), which would allow to predict the development of the milling spindle temperature, based on measured operating data. The accuracy of both created models was determined by statistical methods, and the models were compared with each other.
Computer Model of Cogeneration Unit Heat Cycle
Martynek, Václav ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
Cogeneration (also combined heat and power, CHP) uses a heat produced together with electricity for coverage of heat demand. Cogeneration units of low power are recently used for purpose of heating individual buildings and coverage of heat demand of small-scale industrial enterprises. The theoretical part of this Bachelor thesis is focused on explanation of principle of cogeneration production and there are basic advantages and important indicators of cogeneration production. There is brief summary of cogeneration devices according to type of drive unit. The fourth chapter is devoted to short description of heat exchanger. The fifth chapter includes description of elemental thermal processes and possibility of heat transfer. There is a description of model of heat cycle and graphs of calculated quantities in the sixth chapter. Heat cycle includes cogeneration unit, tank for preheating hot service water, storage tank and heat exchanger, which supplies the heat to the central heating system. The object of Bachelor thesis is creating simple model of cogeneration unit heat cycle in simulation program.
Use of a thermoelectric generator for increasing heat recovery
Laga, Ondřej ; Janák, Luděk (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of waste heat, namely, the exhaust gas which are not frequently used. Specifically, it is a design of thermoelectric generators set, power electronics for fan and heat exchanger proposal. The entire system uses the energy of the waste heat to increase the heating efficiency.
Analyse of thermal phenomena using thermal network
Pavlů, Jiří ; Sikora, Michal (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an algorithm for solving steady-state thermal processes, algorithms for dealing with the transition state of thermal processes and the algorithm for solving ventilation networks. At the same time, the resulting application were expected to meet the conditions arising from the use as teaching aid.
Design of temperature control of power electronic element of device for radio transmission
Laga, Ondřej ; Kotrba, Vít (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This work deals with the problem of overheating power devices for radio transmission, namely transmitting vacuum tubes, which often reach a high temperature by the maximum operating of this. This is the design of temperature control for this device.
